• Before you start testing, gather all the necessary items: your OneTouch Select Simple blood sugar testing machine, OneTouch Select 10 test strips, a lancet device, and a new lancet.
• Take a fresh OneTouch Select Strip from its vial.
• Insert the test strips into the meter.
• With a lancing device, draw a small drop of blood from your fingertip or other approved sites.
• Apply the blood onto the test strip within the meter and wait for about 5 seconds.
• The meter will display your glucose level.

Test strips are only for single use. Do not reuse test strips. Do not use test strips if their expiry date has passed. Keep them in a cool, dry place between 5C and 30C. Do not refrigerate test strips or use them if condensation (water buildup) is visible on the meter. Move your meter and test strips to a cool, dry location, and wait for the meter surface to dry before conducting the test. Ensure that your hands are clean and dry before touching any test strip. Avoid opening the test strip vial until you are prepared to take out a test strip and conduct a test. Use the test strip immediately after removing it from the vial.
