• Insert a strip into the Accu-Chek Active blood glucose meter.
• Ensure that the meter is turned on and the code on the meter matches the code on the strip container.
• Clean the fingertip with an alcohol swab and allow it to dry.
• Prick the fingertip using a lancing device.
• Apply a small drop of blood to the yellow window on the strip.
• After a few seconds, the meter will display the blood glucose level.
