Since my urinary tract infections keep coming back after taking Niftas, Levoflox, and Zocef, are there any other antibiotics left for me to try before I get a CT scan of my kidneys, ureters, and bladder, or should I get another urine culture test done before consulting a doctor?
Before trying any new medication, it is highly recommended to get a fresh urine culture test done. This helps identify the exact bacteria and matches it to the right treatment, preventing resistance. Since urinary tract infections are less common in men, getting the planned CT scan of your kidneys, ureters, and bladder is also a very wise next step to rule out any underlying physical causes.
