I am experiencing pain in my right wrist and cannot apply pressure when pushing anything. What medicines or pain relief ointments can I use to treat this?
For your wrist pain, you can apply a topical gel containing diclofenac or ibuprofen to the affected area 3 to 4 times daily. For oral relief, over-the-counter ibuprofen or acetaminophen can help manage pain and inflammation, provided you have no contraindications. Alongside medication, rest your wrist and avoid pushing or lifting. Applying an ice pack wrapped in a towel for 15 minutes several times a day and wearing a supportive wrist splint can greatly aid recovery. If the pain persists, worsens, or is accompanied by numbness, please see a doctor.
