Could my daily medications?including Pan D 40, Met XL 50, Remipres 2.5, Storvas 20, Ecospirin 75, Clavix 75, and my diabetes tablets?be causing my stomach pain, gas, and increased blood pressure?
Hello. It's completely understandable to feel concerned about these symptoms. Yes, some of your daily medications can cause stomach issues. For instance, aspirin (Ecospirin) and clopidogrel (Clavix) can irritate the stomach lining, while common diabetes tablets like metformin frequently cause gas and bloating. Interestingly, persistent stomach discomfort and stress can also cause a temporary rise in your blood pressure. Please do not stop any of your medications, as doing so abruptly can be unsafe for your heart. I gently encourage you to consult your doctor soon; they can safely adjust your treatment plan to help you feel much more comfortable.
