I have been experiencing pain, fever, and nasal congestion for the last 3 days. What medicine should I take?
Hello. For your fever and pain, you can take over-the-counter paracetamol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen. For nasal congestion, an oral decongestant like pseudoephedrine or a saline nasal spray can provide relief. If you use a medicated decongestant nasal spray, do not use it for more than 3 consecutive days to avoid rebound congestion. Please stay well-hydrated and rest. Since your symptoms have lasted 3 days, if your fever remains high, worsens, or you experience difficulty breathing, please consult a healthcare professional in person for a proper evaluation. Get well soon.
