Asafoetida assists in great abdominal distention, sensation of emptiness, and beating in the stomach. Supports hysterical flatulence and associated globus hystericus - a rising sensation like a ball in the throat.
- Deep Ulceration and Bone Affections. Helps in caries of bones, particularly in syphilitic conditions, with thin, offensive ichorous pus. Relieves periosteal pain and swelling, especially in long-standing ulcerative processes. Manages darting pains in bones, especially at night, accompanied by extreme nervous sensitivity.
