Osteorun CS Tablet is a combination medicine primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies, low calcium levels (hypocalcaemia), osteoporosis, fractured bones, and joint pain. This medicine works by increasing the calcium and vitamin D levels in the body, thus providing essential nutrients necessary for bone formation and maintenance. About Osteorun CS Tablet

Osteorun CS Tablet belongs to the class of dietary supplements used in the treatment of calcium deficiency, bone and joint related disorders such as Osteoporosis. Also, it is used to improve overall joint health. Osteoporosis is a bone disease that weakens and thins bones by decreasing bone density which is common in post-menopausal women. As the density of bones decreases, they weaken and are more likely to break.

Osteorun CS Tablet contains vitamin K2-7, Cissus quadrangularis and Calcium. Vitamin K2-7 helps to build and maintain bones. Cissus quadrangularis has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and analgesic properties. Thus, it helps to reduce joint pain and supports bone health. Calcium is a mineral used to prevent or treat a calcium deficiency. It provides essential nutrients to maintain bone formation. 

Take Osteorun CS Tablet as prescribed. You are advised to take Osteorun CS Tablet for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience dry mouth, headache, constipation, stomach pain, insomnia (difficulty in falling and staying asleep), intestinal gas and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of Osteorun CS Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. 

If you are allergic to Osteorun CS Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult a doctor before taking Osteorun CS Tablet . Osteorun CS Tablet is not recommended for children unless advised by a doctor. You are recommended to avoid using other vitamin D preparations with Osteorun CS Tablet . What if I have taken an overdose of Osteorun CS Tablet

Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Osteorun CS Tablet as it may cause overdose. If you suspect you have taken overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.

If you are allergic to Osteorun CS Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult a doctor before taking Osteorun CS Tablet . Osteorun CS Tablet is not recommended for children unless advised by a doctor. You are recommended to avoid using other vitamin D preparations with Osteorun CS Tablet . Diet & Lifestyle Advise

  • Include dairy products like milk, yoghurt, cheese, or milk-based custard in your diet.

  • Eat daily a serving of broccoli, cabbage, bok choy (Chinese white cabbage), spinach, and other green leafy vegetables.

  • Snack on calcium-rich nuts like Brazil nuts or almonds.

  • Sprinkle sesame seeds over your food, vegetables, and salads. Sesame seeds are high in calcium.

  • Avoid or reduce the intake of caffeine, soft drinks, and alcohol as they may inhibit calcium absorption.

  • Replace the meat with tofu or tempeh for extra calcium in your food.

You are not recommended to take Osteorun CS Tablet if you have hypercalcemia (high levels of calcium in the blood) as it may worsen the condition. However, the levels of calcium and vitamin D may be checked before starting treatment with Osteorun CS Tablet .

Osteorun CS Tablet may cause constipation as a temporary side effect. However, if the condition persists or worsens, please consult a doctor.

You are not recommended to take Osteorun CS Tablet with levothyroxine as co-administration of these two medicines at the same time may reduce the effectiveness of levothyroxine. However, if you are supposed to take both medicines, you are advised to maintain a time gap of a minimum of 4 hours between Osteorun CS Tablet and levothyroxine.

You may be advised to stop taking Osteorun CS Tablet minimum 2 weeks before surgery as it may lower blood sugar levels before and after surgery. Therefore, inform your doctor that you are taking Osteorun CS Tablet before undergoing any surgery.
