Dandruff can sometimes cause hair fall, and if you notice increased hair fall with Head & Shoulders, it may be due to scalp dryness or sensitivity to the product rather than true hair loss from the shampoo. You can try switching to a milder or medicated anti-dandruff shampoo containing ketoconazole or selenium sulfide, used 2-3 times a week, and follow it with a gentle conditioner on the hair (not the scalp) to reduce dryness. Avoid scratching your scalp and limit the use of harsh hair products or oils. If dandruff or hair fall continues or worsens, it is best to consult a doctor to rule out other causes and get appropriate treatment.
