Gemcal Plus Capsule 10's

Gemcal plus capsule increases bone strength & mineral content. It helps to reduce the chances of fracture. The key ingredients are calcium carbonate, calcitriol, vitamin K2-7, methylcobalamin, magnesium, boron, and zinc. All together they help build healthy and strong bones.

• Calcium has several important functions such as building bones, keeping teeth healthy, and regulating muscle contractions.
• Calcitriol is used to treat and prevent low levels of calcium and bone diseases.
• Vitamin K is a group of vitamins necessary for blood clotting and wound healing. It may also help keep bones healthy.
• Methylcobalamin is used to treat vitamin B12 deficiency. Vitamin B12 is important for the brain and nerves, and the production of red blood cells. Methylcobalamin is sometimes used in people with pernicious anaemia, diabetes, and other conditions.
• Magnesium is important for healthy bones. People with higher intakes of magnesium have a higher bone mineral density, which is important in reducing the risk of bone fractures and osteoporosis.
• Boron can aid in keeping your bones strong along with possibly improving brain function.
• Zinc also helps comprise the mineral portion of your bones. In addition, it supports bone-building cells while inhibiting the formation of cells that encourage bone breakdown.

Take medicine in the dose and duration as per the packing leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the capsule as a whole with a glass of water, do not crush or break the capsule. Please do not take more than the daily recommended dosage.

Side effects

Use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Sometimes, you may experience common side effects like:

• Tiredness/ weakness
• Fast or pounding heartbeat

Let your doctor know if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems and other pre-existing medical conditions. If you experience any unusual symptoms or allergic reactions whilst taking Gemcal plus capsule, please discontinue the use and consult your doctor immediately. Let your doctor know if you have any surgery scheduled before starting Gemcal plus capsule. Inform your doctor in advance if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding before starting Gemcal plus capsule. If you feel dizzy/sleepy while using this medicine, it is advised to avoid driving and operating machinery until you feel better. Limit or avoid alcohol intake while using this medicine to minimize interactions and occurrence of side effects. Keep the medicine out of reach of children and pets. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight.
