Bacterial infections are illnesses or conditions caused by bacterial growth or toxins (poisons).

Zustpen 300 Injection contains Biapenem; it penetrates the cell wall of most gram-positive/gram-negative bacteria to bind penicillin-binding protein (PBP) targets and inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, thereby killing the bacteria and treating bacterial infection.

In some cases, Zustpen 300 Injection may cause side effects such as injection site reactions, diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting. • Lower Respiratory Tract Infections: Zustpen 300 Injection is used to treat respiratory tract infections such as hospital-acquired pneumonia and bronchopneumonia.
• Complicated Urinary Tract Infections (cUTIs): Zustpen 300 Injection is used to treat urinary tract infections particularly when caused by resistant organisms.
• Intra-abdominal and Genitourinary Infections: Zustpen 300 Injection is used in the treatment of genitourinary infections including peritonitis and pelvic infections.
