About Triohale Inhaler

Triohale Inhaler is a prescription inhaler used as a long-term maintenance treatment for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and, in selected patients, severe asthma as advised by a doctor. It helps keep the airways open and reduces ongoing inflammation, making breathing easier and helping prevent symptoms such as wheezing, chest tightness, coughing, and shortness of breath. It is not a rescue inhaler and should not be used to treat sudden breathing attacks.

For the best results, use this inhaler every day exactly as prescribed, even if you feel well. Because it is inhaled directly into the lungs, it can be used with or without food. Following your treatment plan, staying physically active as advised, avoiding smoking, and limiting exposure to dust, pollution, and other lung irritants can help improve your breathing over time.

Some people may experience mild side effects such as dry mouth, throat irritation, hoarseness, or cough. Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after every dose to reduce the risk of oral fungal infection (thrush). If you develop sudden worsening of breathing immediately after using the inhaler, severe chest pain, vision changes, or signs of an allergic reaction, stop using the inhaler and seek medical attention immediately.

Triohale Inhaler combines three medicines that work together to improve breathing and control long-term lung disease: Tiotropium (Long-Acting Muscarinic Antagonist – LAMA): Blocks nerve signals that cause the muscles around the airways to tighten, helping keep the larger airways open for an extended period. Formoterol (Long-Acting Beta₂ Agonist – LABA): Relaxes the muscles surrounding the airways, helping keep them open for easier breathing. Although it begins working relatively quickly, it is a long-acting maintenance bronchodilator and should not be used as a rescue medicine during sudden breathing attacks.
