Uses of Scleteri 14mg Tablet

Scleteri 14mg Tablet is used in the treatment of Multiple sclerosis. The detailed uses of Scleteri 14mg Tablet are as follows:
• Relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS): Scleteri 14mg Tablet is used to treat relapsing-remitting MS, a condition where the immune system attacks the protective covering of nerves. It helps by limiting the activity of specific immune cells (T and B lymphocytes) that cause nerve damage, thereby reducing the frequency of relapses and slowing disease progression.
• Immunomodulatory therapy: Scleteri 14mg Tablet acts as an immunomodulator, meaning it modifies the immune response rather than suppressing it entirely. This targeted action helps maintain better long-term control of MS symptoms with fewer systemic side effects.
• Neuroprotection: By preventing further nerve damage, Scleteri 14mg Tablet contributes to preserving neurological function and improving quality of life in patients with multiple sclerosis.
