Sanctalol 25mg Tablet XR is used in the treatment of High blood pressure (hypertension), prevention of heart-related chest pain (angina), heart rhythm disorder (arrhythmia), and heart attack (myocardial infarction). The detailed uses of Sanctalol 25mg Tablet XR are as follows:

• Treatment of Hypertension: Sanctalol 25mg Tablet XR controls high blood pressure by reducing the heart rate and the force of contraction, thereby lowering blood pressure.
• Prevention of Heart-related Chest Pain: Sanctalol 25mg Tablet XR prevents chest pain (angina) by reducing the workload on the heart and improving blood flow to the heart muscle.
• Control of Abnormal Heart Rhythms: Sanctalol 25mg Tablet XR helps manage irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias) by slowing the heart rate and stabilizing the heart's rhythm, reducing symptoms and improving heart function.
• Management of Heart Attack: Sanctalol 25mg Tablet XR is used to manage heart attack (myocardial infarction) by reducing the workload on the heart and preventing further damage.

• Swallow Sanctalol 25mg Tablet XR as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break it.

• Maintain a healthy body weight, ideally with a BMI between 18.5 and 24.9, as excess weight increases the risk of high blood pressure and heart disease.

• Inform your doctor if you have asthma, COPD, diabetes, blood vessel disorder, slow heart rate, pheochromocytoma, myasthenia gravis, dry eye problems, kidney or liver impairment; if you are taking anti-depressants, other blood pressure-lowering medicines, or anti-arrhythmic agents.
