• Treats Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP): Rompost 250 Injection 1's is primarily used in adults with chronic ITP and children with ITP lasting at least 6 months who have not responded adequately to treatments such as splenectomy (surgical removal of the spleen) or medications like corticosteroids and immunoglobulins.
• Reduces Bleeding Risk: Rompost 250 Injection 1's helps prevent bleeding episodes by increasing platelet production, particularly in patients with persistent or recurrent ITP.
• Serves as a Steroid-Sparing Agent: Rompost 250 Injection 1's may be used as an alternative to or in combination with corticosteroids to help reduce the need for long-term steroid treatment and minimise the risk of associated side effects in ITP patients.
