About RAMCET S TABLET
RAMCET S TABLET belongs to the class of medications called ‘analgesics,’ primarily used to treat moderate to severe pain. It can relieve pain and inflammation associated with various conditions, such as dental pain, cervical pain, chronic low back pain, arthritis pain (joint pain), post-operative pain, and sports injury. Pain is an unpleasant feeling occurring due to injury or tissue damage. It can be temporary (acute), caused by damage to tissues, or long-lasting (chronic), caused by pathologies like nerve damage, osteoarthritis, or other conditions.
RAMCET S TABLET is a combination medicine containing three active ingredients: Tramadol, Paracetamol, and Serratiopeptidase. Tramadol is an opioid analgesic (pain reliever) that blocks the transmission of pain signals to the brain, reducing pain perception. Paracetamol is an analgesic that blocks the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for causing pain. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme that works as an anti-inflammatory by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation and promoting healing. Together, RAMCET S TABLET helps relieve pain.
Your doctor will recommend the dose and duration of RAMCET S TABLET based on your medical condition and the severity of the pain. In some cases, RAMCET S TABLET may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, stomach pain, constipation, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, headache, and dry mouth. Most of these side effects are usually mild and temporary. However, if these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Before taking RAMCET S TABLET, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Avoid taking high or repeated doses, as it may lead to addiction or cause severe liver damage. Do not take RAMCET S TABLET if you have taken monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors in the past 14 days. RAMCET S TABLET is not recommended in children under 12 years old. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have seizures, breathing problems, diabetes, difficulty urinating, stomach or bowel obstruction, bleeding disorders, or liver, kidney, thyroid, or mental health problems before taking RAMCET S TABLET.
