This medicine is used to treat infected wounds and support healthy wound healing.

• Wash your hands before and after using Neldine-M Ointment.<
• Clean and dry the affected area. Apply a thin layer of Neldine-M Ointment and gently massage it into the skin until absorbed.
• Avoid contact with the eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. If Neldine-M Ointment comes into contact with the eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse with water immediately.

• Eat a protein-rich diet: Include lean meat, fish, eggs, beans, and other protein-rich foods because protein is essential for repairing damaged skin.
• Stay well hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to support healthy skin and normal wound healing.
• Manage your blood sugar: If you have diabetes, keep your blood glucose under good control because high blood sugar can delay wound healing.
• Relieve pressure regularly: If you have pressure sores, change your position every 1 to 2 hours or as advised by your healthcare provider to improve blood flow to the affected area.
• Avoid smoking: Smoking reduces blood flow and the amount of oxygen reaching the wound, which can slow healing.

• Inspect the tube before use: Do not use the medicine if the seal is broken or if the cream or ointment has changed colour or consistency.
• Avoid contact with sensitive areas: Do not allow the medicine to get into your eyes, nose, mouth, or inside the vagina. Rinse thoroughly with water if accidental contact occurs.
• Use only as directed: Do not apply this medicine over very large open wounds or deep body cavities unless your doctor specifically instructs you to do so, as excessive iodine absorption may affect your thyroid gland.
• Use dressings appropriately: Avoid using airtight (occlusive) dressings unless your healthcare provider specifically recommends them.
• Check the wound every day: Monitor for increasing redness, warmth, swelling, pus, or a foul smell, and consult your doctor promptly if these signs develop or worsen.
