Midacare Nasal Spray 4 MDI is used in the treatment of seizure clusters (acute repetitive seizures). The detailed uses of Midacare Nasal Spray 4 MDI are as follows:

• Conscious Sedation: Midacare Nasal Spray 4 MDI is used before diagnostic or therapeutic procedures to help patients feel relaxed and comfortable, and helps relieve anxiety and muscle tension before minor surgeries or dental procedures.
• Treatment of Seizure Clusters: Midacare Nasal Spray 4 MDI helps manage acute repetitive seizures, which involve multiple seizures within a short period and works by increasing GABA activity, a brain chemical that calms nerve cells and controls seizures.
• Pre-Surgical Sedation: Midacare Nasal Spray 4 MDI is administered before medical procedures to induce drowsiness and reduce discomfort, and helps patients remain calm without the need for general anaesthesia.

• Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and duration.
• Blow your nose to clear the nostrils before use. Insert the nozzle into one nostril while closing the other nostril. Spray the medicine while breathing in. Repeat for the other nostril if required.
• Shake the nasal spray well before each use.

Midacare Nasal Spray 4 MDI contains Midazolam used to treat acute (sudden) repetitive fits. Midacare Nasal Spray 4 MDI increases the activity of GABA (a chemical messenger in the brain that acts as a natural nerve-calming agent). Thus, it suppresses the excessive and abnormal activity of nerve cells in the brain and controls fits.

If you are allergic to Midazolam or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy, or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Midacare Nasal Spray 4 MDI. Midacare Nasal Spray 4 MDI is not recommended for children below 12 years as the safety and effectiveness were not established. Avoid consumption of alcohol with Midacare Nasal Spray 4 MDI as it may cause drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how Midacare Nasal Spray 4 MDI affects you. Avoid using Midacare Nasal Spray 4 MDI if you have acute narrow-angle glaucoma (eye problem). Do not take Midacare Nasal Spray 4 MDI with opioids until and unless prescribed by a doctor, as it may increase the risk of breathing problems, severe drowsiness or coma. Get medical help immediately if you experience unusually excessive sleepiness or shallow or slowed breathing while using Midacare Nasal Spray 4 MDI.

• Do regular exercise and maintain a healthy body weight.
• Maintain a diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Avoid fried foods, high-fat dairy products, pastries and processed foods, as they may worsen anxiety.
• Follow a regular sleep pattern. Do not take a nap during the daytime.
• Avoid watching tv and using mobiles or laptops just before bedtime.
• Avoid the consumption of alcohol as it may increase drowsiness.
