Your doctor may prescribe L-Cin OZ Suspension to treat the following conditions:

• Infectious diarrhoea and dysentery: Helps treat susceptible bacterial and parasitic infections that cause diarrhoea, stomach cramps, and stools containing blood or mucus.
• Mixed gastrointestinal infections: Helps treat certain infections in which both susceptible bacteria and parasites, such as amoebae, are involved.

L-Cin OZ Suspension helps treat susceptible bacterial and parasitic infections of the digestive tract, allowing your child's symptoms to improve and supporting recovery.

• Helps clear the infection: Treats susceptible bacteria and parasites that cause intestinal infections.
• Relieves digestive symptoms: Helps reduce diarrhoea, stomach cramps, bloating, and abdominal discomfort as the infection improves.
• Convenient combination treatment: Combines two medicines in one suspension, reducing the need for multiple separate medicines and making treatment easier to administer.

• L-Cin OZ Suspension should be given after meals.
• Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and duration of the medication.
• Shake well before use. Administer the advised dose to the child using the measuring cup/measuring spoon/dropper.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.

• Keep your child well hydrated: Give plenty of oral rehydration solution (ORS), water, clear soups, or other fluids recommended by your doctor to replace fluids lost through diarrhoea.
• Offer light, easy-to-digest foods: Foods such as bananas, rice, applesauce, toast, or other bland meals may be easier for your child to tolerate while recovering.
• Avoid foods that may worsen diarrhoea: Limit spicy, greasy, sugary, or heavily processed foods until your child's symptoms improve.
• Encourage good hand hygiene: Help your child wash their hands thoroughly with soap and water before meals and after using the toilet to reduce the spread of infection.
• Watch for signs of recovery: Your child should gradually have fewer loose stools, less stomach pain, an improving appetite, and more energy. If symptoms worsen or do not begin to improve within two to three days, contact your doctor.

• Use only under medical supervision: Because this medicine contains levofloxacin, it should only be given to children when prescribed by a doctor. It is generally reserved for situations where other suitable antibiotics are not appropriate.
• Shake the bottle well before each dose: This helps ensure the medicine is evenly mixed.
• Protect your child from sunlight: This medicine may make the skin more sensitive to sunlight. Limit direct sun exposure and use protective clothing when your child is outdoors.
• Watch for joint or tendon pain: Tell your doctor immediately if your child develops pain, swelling, or stiffness in the joints or tendons.
• Complete the full course: Continue giving the medicine for the full prescribed course, even if your child feels better before it is finished.
