Furmecil 20mg/5.8 mg/15.8mg Capsule can be taken 1 hour before or after a meal.
It is usually taken 2 times a day, in the morning and evening, for the duration prescribed by your doctor.
Swallow Furmecil 20mg/5.8 mg/15.8mg Capsule as a whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush, chew, or open it.

Storage

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight.• Keep Furmecil 20mg/5.8 mg/15.8mg Capsule out of reach and sight of children. • Non cold chain - To be stored in cool places at 10ºC to 25ºC or below 30ºC.

What if I have taken an overdose of Furmecil 20mg/5.8 mg/15.8mg Capsule

Do not take more than prescribed dose. Taking more medication will not improve your symptoms; rather they may cause poisoning or serious side-effects. If you think there has been an overdose, or experience any adverse events get medical care right away.

Drug Warnings

Do not take Furmecil 20mg/5.8 mg/15.8mg Capsule if you are allergic to any of its components, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have a history of severe and unexpected reactions to fluoropyrimidine therapy, known dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPD) deficiency, severe bone marrow suppression, or end-stage renal disease requiring dialysis. Inform the doctor if you have bone marrow suppression, diarrhoea, dehydration, kidney or liver problems, or eye toxicity. Furmecil 20mg/5.8 mg/15.8mg Capsule is not recommended for use in children below 18 years. Let the doctor know if you take other medicines, including supplements and herbal products.
