About Eslo-5 AT Tablet

Eslo-5 AT Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a condition in which the blood exerts high pressure (force exerted by circulating blood) against the walls of blood vessels.

Eslo-5 AT Tablet contains atenolol and S-amlodipine, which work together to control high blood pressure. It helps relax blood vessels and improves blood flow throughout the body. It also supports better heart function and helps prevent chest pain.

Take Eslo-5 AT Tablet as advised by a doctor. You may experience nausea, tiredness, stomach upset/constipation, cold hands or feet, flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), dizziness, headache, sleepiness, palpitations (pounding of the heart), and swelling of the ankles or feet. Talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not stop taking Eslo-5 AT Tablet without consulting your doctor since it may worsen your condition and increase the risk of future heart problems. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please tell your doctor so that the dosage of Eslo-5 AT Tablet can be prescribed accordingly. Reduce the amount of table salt (sodium chloride) in your diet.

Take Eslo-5 AT Tablet only as prescribed by the physician. Do not exceed the prescribed dose, as it might cause adverse effects. If you suspect you have taken an overdose, seek immediate medical attention.

Drug Warnings

Do not use Eslo-5 AT Tablet if you are allergic to Eslo-5 AT Tablet or any of its components.
Please inform your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medications you are taking, including vitamins, before starting Eslo-5 AT Tablet .
Let your doctor know if you have any history of severe kidney or liver diseases, chest pain (angina), poor blood circulation or controlled heart failure, first-degree/second-degree heart block, diabetes, overactive thyroid gland, adrenal gland diseases (phaeochromocytoma), metabolic acidosis (higher levels of acid in the blood), abnormal heart rhythms and asthma before starting Eslo-5 AT Tablet .
Eslo-5 AT Tablet is not prescribed if you are a pregnant or breastfeeding mother. Inform your doctor before starting Eslo-5 AT Tablet .
Eslo-5 AT Tablet may increase the risk of lightheadedness, so rise slowly if you are sitting/lying, and avoid operating any machinery or performing any work that requires mental alertness until you feel better.
It is not recommended to consume alcohol while being treated with Eslo-5 AT Tablet . Eslo-5 AT Tablet is not recommended for people under 18 years of age.
