Colimex Paed Drops is used to relieve stomach pain and symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in children. The detailed uses of Colimex Paed Drops are as follows:

• Relief from abdominal pain: Colimex Paed Drops provides relief from crampy abdominal pain, often used for digestive issues by relaxing the muscles in the abdomen and intestines and reducing spasms and cramps.
• Management of gastrointestinal disorders: Colimex Paed Drops helps in managing symptoms associated with gastrointestinal issues, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastric spasms, bloating or pain.
• Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS): Colimex Paed Drops may help relieve symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) by relaxing the muscles in the intestines and reducing spasms.
• Muscle spasm relief: Colimex Paed Drops helps to relieve muscle spasms in the gastrointestinal tract, reducing spasmodic activity and providing relief.

Colimex Paed Drops is a combination drug containing Dicyclomine (antispasmodic) and  Simethicone (anti-foaming agent), primarily given to get relief from abdominal spasmodic pain, bloating, and general pain-related discomfort of the lower abdomen. Dicyclomine, being an antispasmodic, helps treat spasms and pain by relaxing the muscles. It also blocks certain chemical messengers in the brain, which cause pain sensation, hence relieving pain. Simethicone is an anti-foaming agent; it helps to treat bloating and releases gas more easily. Collectively, both help to reduce abdominal pain caused due to spasms, cramps and gas formation.

• Colimex Paed Drops should be given before food.
• Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and duration of the medication.
• Shake well before use. Administer the advised dose to the child using the measuring cup/measuring spoon/dropper.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.
