Brite Cream helps reduce dark patches, even out skin tone, and protect the skin from further pigmentation. Your doctor may recommend it for the following conditions:

• Melasma: Brite Cream helps lighten dark, patchy areas of skin on the face that often appear during pregnancy or hormonal changes.
• Hyperpigmentation: It fades dark spots, freckles, and age spots by lowering the production of the pigment responsible for skin colour.
• Sun Protection: The sun-filtering ingredients in Brite Cream protect newly treated skin from ultraviolet (UV) radiation, preventing the dark spots from returning.
• Combination therapy: Depending on your skin condition, your dermatologist may prescribe hydroquinone as part of a combination treatment with other medicines, such as tretinoin or a topical corticosteroid. Always follow the instructions provided for your specific prescribed product.

• Generally, Brite Cream is to be used twice daily; however, follow your doctor's advice regarding the dosage and duration.
• Take a small amount of Brite Cream on the fingertip and apply it to the clean and dry affected area as advised by your doctor.
• Avoid contact of Brite Cream with the eyes. In case Brite Cream comes in contact with the eyes accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly.
• Wash your hands before and after applying Brite Cream.

• Strict Sun Protection: UV light triggers melanin production. Wear a wide-brimmed hat, long sleeves, and sunglasses, and seek shade whenever you are outdoors.
• Daily Sunscreen: Even though Brite Cream contains sun filters, always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher to your face during the day, even on cloudy days.
• Gentle Skin Care: Avoid using harsh scrubs, exfoliating acids, or drying alcohol-based toners on the treated skin, as these can worsen irritation.
• Antioxidant-Rich Diet: Eat a diet rich in vitamins C and E, found in citrus fruits, leafy greens, and nuts, to support overall skin health and healing.
• Maintain your results: After completing treatment, continue using a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily and follow your doctor's maintenance plan to help reduce the risk of pigmentation returning.

• Perform a patch test: Before your first full application, apply a tiny amount of the cream to an unbroken patch of skin on your inner forearm and monitor it for 24 hours to check for any severe allergic reaction.
• Avoid peroxide products: Do not use benzoyl peroxide, hydrogen peroxide, or other peroxide products on the same areas while using Brite Cream, as this can cause temporary dark staining of your skin.
• Limit outdoor activities: Try to minimize your time in direct sunlight, especially between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM when UV rays are strongest.
• Check the cream's colour: If the cream has turned dark brown or significantly changed colour, it may have oxidized and lost its effectiveness; do not use it and consult your pharmacist.
• Avoid broken skin: Never apply Brite Cream to sunburned, windburned, dry, chapped, or irritated skin, or on open wounds.
