Uses:
<p>Rabgit-Ace Capsule is used in the treatment of Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis. The detailed uses of Rabgit-Ace Capsule are as follows:</p><ul><li><strong>Rheumatoid Arthritis:</strong> Rabgit-Ace Capsule reduces joint pain, swelling, and stiffness.</li><li><strong>Osteoarthritis:</strong> Rabgit-Ace Capsule eases discomfort from cartilage wear and tear.</li><li><strong>Ankylosing Spondylitis:</strong> Rabgit-Ace Capsule helps relieve spinal inflammation and stiffness.</li><li><strong>Lower Back Pain, Toothache, Ear &amp; Throat Pain:</strong> Rabgit-Ace Capsule offers general pain relief in musculoskeletal and ENT conditions.</li></ul>
Medicinal Benefits:
Rabgit-Ace Capsule is used to reduce and relieve pain and inflammation (swelling) associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. It may also be indicated in the treatment of pain associated with post-traumatic and post-operative cases.
Rabgit-Ace Capsule contains Aceclofenac and Rabeprazole. Aceclofenac is a pain killer called NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) which works by blocking the effect of chemical messengers (prostaglandin), thereby helping in reducing pain, and inflammation. Rabeprazole works by blocking the action of an enzyme called a proton pump, which is responsible for the production of stomach acid. Thus, the combination used for pain relief, decrease stiffness in joints and reduces the release of excess stomach acid caused by aceclofenac.
Rabgit-Ace Capsule is not recommended for asthma patients as it may worsen the condition. Therefore, please inform your doctor if you have asthma or a history of asthma due to the use of aspirin or any other non-steroidal drugs.
You are not recommended to take Rabgit-Ace Capsule with warfarin as co-administration of these two medicines may increase the risk of bleeding more easily. However, if you notice blood in urine or stools, dizziness, unusual bleeding or bruising, vomiting, weakness or headache, please consult a doctor immediately. If you are supposed to use these medicines together, you are advised to contact your doctor so that the dose may be adjusted appropriately to use safely.
Aceclofenac in Rabgit-Ace Capsule may increase the risk of heart problems such as heart attack, especially when used in high doses or for prolonged duration and in patients who are smokers, have high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol. It is advised to inform your doctor if you have any of these conditions or have a history of heart problems or stroke before taking Rabgit-Ace Capsule . However, taking Rabgit-Ace Capsule in the dose and for the duration, as prescribed by your doctor, is recommended.
Rabgit-Ace Capsule may impair fertility in females and make it more difficult to conceive. Therefore, if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or have difficulties conceiving, please consult your doctor before taking Rabgit-Ace Capsule .
Do not take Rabgit-Ace Capsule for longer durations as it might increase the risk of heart problems, stomach bleeding and might increase the risk of fractures of the hip, spine, and wrist. Do not exceed the dose and duration of treatment as prescribed by the doctor.
Rabgit-Ace Capsule is a combination medicine containing Aceclofenac (painkiller) and Rabeprazole (antacid). It is used to treat osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
Do not discontinue Rabgit-Ace Capsule without consulting your doctor. To treat your condition effectively, keep taking Rabgit-Ace Capsule for the prescribed duration.
Nausea and vomiting could be side effects of Rabgit-Ace Capsule . Drink enough fluids by taking frequent sips and eat small, frequent meals. If the condition persists or worsens, consult the doctor.
Store Rabgit-Ace Capsule at room temperature, in a dry place. Keep it out of sight and reach of children.
Rabgit-Ace Capsule may cause side effects such as indigestion, stomach pain, constipation, dizziness, nausea, and diarrhoea. Most of the side effects of Rabgit-Ace Capsule do not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Rabgit-Ace Capsule may cause drowsiness and dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Avoid consuming alcohol with Rabgit-Ace Capsule as it could lead to increased drowsiness.
Rabgit-Ace Capsule can be taken with vitamin B-complex if advised by the doctor. Talk to the doctor if you have any concerns.
