<p>CMVCEL Tablet 2's is used in the treatment of Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection of the retina. The detailed uses of CMVCEL Tablet 2's are as follows:</p><ul><li><strong>CMV Retinitis:</strong> CMVCEL Tablet 2's treats viral eye infections in patients with AIDS.</li><li><strong>CMV Prophylaxis:</strong> CMVCEL Tablet 2's prevents CMV disease in organ transplant recipients (kidney, heart, pancreas).</li></ul>
Medicinal Benefits:
CMVCEL Tablet 2's is used to treat cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection of the retina of the eye in adult AIDS patients. Also, it is used to prevent CMV infection in patients who received an organ transplant from a donor infected with CMV.
CMVCEL Tablet 2's contains Valganciclovir that works by getting converted to ganciclovir in the body and inhibits the multiplication of the virus. Thereby, it helps to control the infection.
CMVCEL Tablet 2's may be used to prevent cytomegalovirus infection in patients who received an organ transplant from a donor infected with CMV.
CMVCEL Tablet 2's may cause diarrhoea as a temporary side effect. However, if the condition persists or worsens, please consult a doctor.
