Acute CR 200 mg/20 mg Capsule contains Aceclofenac and Rabeprazole. Aceclofenac is a pain killer called NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) which works by blocking the effect of chemical messengers (prostaglandin), thereby helping in reducing pain, and inflammation. Rabeprazole works by blocking the action of an enzyme called a proton pump, which is responsible for the production of stomach acid. Thus, the combination used for pain relief, decrease stiffness in joints and reduces the release of excess stomach acid caused by aceclofenac.
