My left eye turned red due to a viral illness. There is no longer any redness after taking the medication, yet everything appears blurry in the left eye. He informed me that the iris was infected when I checked again. I've included the prescription.
If the infection or inflammation has impacted deeper areas of the eye, such the iris (iritis/uveitis), blurred vision may occur once the redness goes away. Even after the exterior redness subsides, this can result in pain, light sensitivity, wetness, or blurred vision. Untreated iris inflammation can occasionally have a major impact on vision, therefore it's critical to take the recommended eye drops exactly as directed and to make follow-up appointments. Don't touch your eyes, and unless your eye doctor instructs you otherwise, don't abruptly stop using steroid or antibiotic drops. Get immediate eye treatment if your eyesight deteriorates, your pain gets worse, or you experience flashes or floaters.
