I have been suffering from intolerable, constant pain running from my right upper back to my right arm along with severe muscle tightness that hurts worst when touched or rested on; since my daily medications Eliwel 10mg (for finger pain due to a suspected pinched nerve in my upper chest), Bisoheart 2.5mg (for high blood pressure), and Aztolet 10mg (for cholesterol) are not helping, and pain medicines like Ultracet and Altraday have failed to provide relief, is it safe and appropriate for me to try taking Benzaday, or what other treatments do you suggest?
I am so sorry you are dealing with this exhausting pain. Regarding Benzaday, it contains cyclobenzaprine, which is chemically similar to your Eliwel (amitriptyline). Taking them together can increase the risk of severe drowsiness, dry mouth, or heart rhythm issues, so it is not safe to start Benzaday without your doctor's direct supervision. Since Ultracet and Altraday have not provided relief, your pain may require a different approach. I highly recommend consulting a neurologist or your physician to evaluate for a pinched cervical nerve, potentially with an MRI, and to discuss safer, targeted nerve-pain medications or physical therapy.
