Is it normal to experience nausea, hot flashes, and cold, sweaty palms when first starting to take Daxid 50, Toficalm 50, and Pan-D for anxiety and panic attacks?
It is completely normal and very common to experience mild side effects like nausea, hot flashes, and sweaty palms when first starting Daxid (sertraline), Toficalm (tofisopam), and Pan-D. When your body is adjusting to these medications, your nervous system can temporarily react with these physical sensations. These startup symptoms usually peak in the first week and gradually fade within two weeks. Pan-D is actually prescribed to help ease the nausea. Try taking your medication with food and stay well-hydrated. You are doing wonderfully, and your body just needs a little time to adapt. If these feelings become hard to manage, please check in with your doctor.
