Your symptoms sound like Wrist drop, often caused by temporary nerve compression during sleep; most cases improve gradually over weeks. Start gentle exercises like wrist extension (lifting the hand up with support from the other hand), finger stretching, and making a fist repeatedly, doing them slowly 2?3 times daily without pain. You can also use a wrist splint to keep the hand in a normal position and avoid pressure on the arm while sleeping. If there is no improvement in 2?3 weeks, or weakness worsens, consult a neurologist or physiotherapist for proper evaluation and guided therapy.
