I have hypothyroidism. I take 50 mcg of thyronorm. Please recommend a decent supplement tablet for zinc, selenium, copper, iodine, vitamins E, A, and C, as well as B6 and B12. I'm attempting to get pregnant. 4.56 is my tsh.
Although thyronorm is frequently used to treat hypothyroidism, your TSH should ideally be kept below 2.5 since you are attempting to conceive. A TSH of 4.56 may indicate that your doctor should modify your thyroid medication prior to becoming pregnant. Because too much iodine can potentially harm the thyroid, please do not start taking excessive amounts of iodine or supplements on your own. For women who intend to become pregnant, doctors typically advise taking an excellent prenatal supplement that contains folic acid, vitamin D, B12, zinc, selenium, and about 150 mcg of iodine. Prenatal vitamins or calcium/iron supplements should be given at least four hours after taking thyroid medication, which should be taken on an empty stomach. To check your thyroid dosage and properly plan for pregnancy, please see your gynaecologist or endocrinologist as soon as possible.
