About Zyprotic Capsule

Zyprotic Capsule belongs to the class of probiotics used to treat conditions such as diarrhoea, irritable bowel syndrome, and antibiotic-associated diarrhoea. Diarrhoea is a condition characterised by loose and watery stools with a frequent need to have a bowel movement. An irritable bowel syndrome is a group of intestinal symptoms that occur together. 

Zyprotic Capsule is a combination of probiotics (live strains of bacteria that keeps the body healthy) and prebiotics (types of fibre that act as food for friendly bacteria). Zyprotic Capsule helps to restore good bacteria in the intestines. Thereby, it prevents diarrhoea and loss of beneficial bacteria due to prolonged intake of antibiotics or infections in the intestine. 

Take Zyprotic Capsule as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Zyprotic Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience fever, nausea, soft stools, bloating, flatulence (gas) or stomach cramps. Most of these side effects of Zyprotic Capsule do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. 

If you are allergic to Zyprotic Capsule or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Consult a doctor before taking Zyprotic Capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Zyprotic Capsule is used in the treatment of Diarrhoea and Irritable bowel syndrome. The detailed uses of Zyprotic Capsule are as follows:<br/>• Treatment of diarrhea: Zyprotic Capsule is used in the treatment of diarrhea.<br/>• Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease: Zyprotic Capsule may help alleviate symptoms of IBS and IBD (Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Inflammatory Bowel Disease).<br/>• Restores healthy gut flora: Zyprotic Capsule is used to restore healthy gut flora after antibiotic use or infections.<br/>• Reduces symptoms: Zyprotic Capsule reduces bloating, gas, and indigestion symptoms.<br/>

Directions for Use

• Zyprotic Capsule should be taken with or immediately after a meal/food to maximise its effectiveness.• Generally, it is recommended to be taken once a day. However, follow your doctor's instructions regarding dosage and timing for optimal results. • Swallow Zyprotic Capsule as a whole with a glass of water. • Do not crush, chew, or break it.

What if I have taken an overdose of Zyprotic Capsule

When taken in excess, Zyprotic Capsule is not known to have any harmful side effects. However, do not take more than the recommended dose. If you suspect you have taken an overdose of Zyprotic Capsule , seek emergency medical help.

You are not recommended to take Zyprotic Capsule with ketoconazole or other antifungals as it may decrease the effectiveness of Zyprotic Capsule . However, please consult a doctor before taking Zyprotic Capsule with other medicines.

You are recommended to use Zyprotic Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. However, if the condition persists for more than 2 days or worsens with blood in stools or fever, please consult a doctor.

You are recommended to maintain a time gap of a minimum of 2 to 3 hours between taking Zyprotic Capsule and antibiotics as taking them together at the same time may decrease the effectiveness of Zyprotic Capsule . However, please consult a doctor before using Zyprotic Capsule with other medicines.
