Vagilyte 2% Vaginal gel comprises clotrimazole, which works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. Vagilyte 2% Vaginal gel eliminates the infection by causing holes in the fungal cell membrane and allows the components to leak out, thus killing the fungus.

Use Vagilyte 2% Vaginal gel as recommended by the physician. In some cases, Vagilyte 2% Vaginal gel may cause abdominal pain, vulvovaginal pain, nausea, and application site reactions, including itching, burning sensation, and irritation. These side effects of Vagilyte 2% Vaginal gel eventually subside without medical intervention. Consult your doctor immediately if any side effects worsen or persist.
