Spear Ointment is used in the treatment of haemorrhoids (piles) and anal fissures. The detailed uses of Spear Ointment are as follows:

• Haemorrhoids (piles): Spear Ointment helps by numbing the painful area, reducing swelling of the blood vessels, and relieving persistent itching in both internal and external haemorrhoids.
• Anal fissures: It eases the sharp pain associated with small tears in the lining of the anus, making bowel movements more comfortable while promoting tissue repair.
• Anal itching and inflammation: It relieves irritation, reduces redness, and calms inflamed tissues in the rectal region.

Spear Ointment helps relieve the pain and discomfort associated with haemorrhoids and other anorectal conditions.

• Reduce sitting pressure: Avoid sitting on hard surfaces or remaining seated for long periods. Use a soft cushion if needed to reduce pressure on the rectal area.

• Use only as prescribed: Do not use this medicine for longer than your doctor recommends. Prolonged use may irritate the area or damage the lining of the rectum.
• Clean the applicator after use: If you are using the ointment with an applicator, wash and dry it thoroughly after each use. This helps keep it clean and reduces the risk of infection.

• Do not use for certain rectal conditions: Do not use this medicine if you have certain infections (such as skin or rectal infections caused by tuberculosis, syphilis, or certain viral infections), severe rectal bleeding, a large prolapsed haemorrhoid, or any other condition that may require surgery. Your doctor will decide whether this treatment is suitable for you.
