Sodanet 500 Tablet is mainly used to treat acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach, and stomach upset. Sodanet 500 Tablet may also be prescribed to make the blood or urine less acidic in certain conditions. It helps correct the acid-alkaline balance in the body.

Sodanet 500 Tablet contains sodium bicarbonate, which helps neutralize the stomach's acidic pH. Thereby, Sodanet 500 Tablet helps to provide relief from acidity.

Sometimes, you may experience common side effects such as dry mouth, urinating more than usual, and increased thirst. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually. However, talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Sodanet 500 Tablet overdose may lead to hyperventilation (over breathing), twitching, very sensitive to light stimuli and high potassium levels in the blood which may cause dizziness or tiredness. Therefore, if you suspect you have taken overdose of Sodanet 500 Tablet , please seek medical help immediately.

Pregnant women are recommended to consult their doctor before using Sodanet 500 Tablet or any antacid, as it may worsen high blood pressure during pregnancy.
