The S-Gel is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial gel formulated with 0.002% of silver nanoparticles. This innovative use of nanocrystalline silver allows the gel to penetrate deep into the skin. It promotes wound healing by preventing infection and reducing inflammation in wounds.

S-Gel works by reducing local matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) activity and increasing neutrophil apoptosis within the wound, which helps accelerate the healing process. • Check the product: Always inspect the gel or cream before use. Do not apply it if the tube is damaged, or if the product appears discoloured or separated.
• Avoid sensitive areas: Keep this medicine away from your eyes, nose, mouth, and other mucous membranes. Rinse thoroughly with cool water if accidental contact occurs.
• Use sterile tools: If you are applying the product to a larger wound, use a sterile spatula or wear sterile gloves to prevent introducing new bacteria to the wound.
• Monitor skin colour: Be aware that prolonged or excessive use of silver-based products over very large areas can cause a permanent bluish-grey tint on the skin, known as argyria. Consult your doctor if you notice any persistent skin darkening.
• Do not mix topicals: Avoid applying other skin creams, lotions, or enzymatic wound cleaners to the same area unless explicitly instructed by your doctor, as they may interact or render each other ineffective.
