About Radens Tablet

Radens Tablet is used in the treatment of depression, biliary cholangitis (an autoimmune disease of the liver), liver diseases caused by cystic fibrosis, and to reduce pain and swelling in the joints. It is also used to treat liver disease during pregnancy and improve symptoms in people with fibromyalgia.

Radens Tablet contains Ademetionine, a naturally occurring substance, produced from methionine (amino acid). Radens Tablet ensures sufficient levels of glutathione in the liver are maintained to minimize liver damage. It stimulates the production of cartilage, reduces inflammatory mediators, and has analgesic properties.

In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as abdominal discomfort, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea, dizziness, and insomnia. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, talk to your doctor if these side effects persist.

Take Radens Tablet as recommended by your doctor. It should be taken with a meal for better absorption. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of medicine based on the type of condition. Do not chew, crush, or break the medicine.

What if I have taken an overdose of Radens Tablet

  • Do not take Radens Tablet if you are allergic to any of its contents
  • Do not use Radens Tablet if you have used an MAO inhibitor (antidepressant) in the past 14 days, as a dangerous drug interaction could occur.
