Minokem New 5% Solution is used to treat alopecia (hair loss). Minokem New 5% Solution stimulates hair growth and slows down the process of balding. Alopecia is the thinning or loss of hair on the scalp or any part of the body.

Minokem New 5% Solution contains Minoxidil, which widens the blood vessels and helps provide oxygen, blood, and nutrients to the hair follicles, thereby preventing hair cell death and promoting new hair growth.

Some common side effects of Minokem New 5% Solution include changes in the color/texture of the hair, excessive hair growth, headache, itching, skin irritation, dryness, shortness of breath, scaling of the skin, and redness. Minokem New 5% Solution is used for the treatment of Alopecia/hair loss.

Minokem New 5% Solution is a vasodilator and widens the blood vessels promoting the blood flow. This process helps nourish the hair cells with the supply of oxygen and nutrients and thus stimulates hair growth.

You may notice hair shedding during the initial 2-6 weeks of treatment, which is normal. Hair loss gradually stops after two weeks of treatment. If it persists for over two weeks, stop using Minokem New 5% Solution and consult your doctor.

Hair growth is a slow process, and it usually takes four months to see the best results of Minokem New 5% Solution.

Minokem New 5% Solution is for topical use only. Do not put a bandage or dressing on the affected area while treating with Minokem New 5% Solution. If the medicine gets into your eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with cold water. Do not blow-dry your scalp after using Minokem New 5% Solution. Do not apply Minokem New 5% Solution on shaved, inflamed, infected, irritated or painful scalp skin.

Minokem New 5% Solution is for scalp use; do not apply it on your face. If Minokem New 5% Solution gets in contact with any other body areas, rinse with water thoroughly.

It is not required to wash your hair daily after applying Minokem New 5% Solution. But, make sure your hair is dry before applying Minokem New 5% Solution if you have washed your hair.

Do not use Minokem New 5% Solution for beard growth. Minokem New 5% Solution is recommended only for hair loss on the scalp.

Do not freeze Minokem New 5% Solution. Please keep it away from direct sunlight. If you are using foam, keep the foam canister away from open flame or high heat since it may explode. Do not puncture or burn an empty canister.

You are advised to use Minokem New 5% Solution for as long as your doctor has told you. Using more than advised or more often will not increase effectiveness. Please follow your doctor's instructions.

The side effects of Minokem New 5% Solution include changes in colour/texture of the hair, skin irritation, dryness, redness, scaling of the skin and excessive hair growth. If these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

You must keep using Minokem New 5% Solution to make sure that your hair grows longer. If you stop using Minokem New 5% Solution, the regrown hair may disappear after 3 to 4 months and hair loss or balding may restart.
