Additionally, diclofenac is used to treat juvenile chronic arthritis in children aged 1 to 12 years and post-operative pain in children above 6 years. Jonac Suppositories contains Diclofenac, which works by blocking the effect of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes. This inhibits prostaglandin synthesis and thereby relieves pain and inflammation.

Do not use Jonac Suppositories if you are allergic to any of its components; if you have/had gastric/peptic ulcer, stomach/bowel problems after taking other NSAIDs, heart, kidney or liver failure, heart attack, stroke, blockage of blood vessels to the heart or brain, bypass surgery, or blood circulation problems. Inform the doctor if you have/had ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease, liver or kidney problems, porphyria, bleeding disorder, asthma, high blood pressure, angina, diabetes, high cholesterol, or lupus. Jonac Suppositories should be used during the first 6 months of pregnancy only if necessary and advised by your doctor.
