Hysochlor 5% Eye Drop is indicated in the temporary relief of corneal oedema. It may also be used for irrigation of the eye as required, including removal of harmful substances and first aid. Corneal oedema, also called corneal swelling, is a condition caused by the build-up of fluid in the cornea.

Hysochlor 5% Eye Drop contains Sodium chloride that works by drawing fluid out of the cornea. Thereby, Hysochlor 5% Eye Drop helps reduce swelling and may lessen irritation or eye discomfort caused by swelling.

In some cases, Hysochlor 5% Eye Drop may cause side effects such as a burning sensation, redness, eye discomfort, and temporary blurred vision. • Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.• Tilt your head back and gently pull your lower eyelid downward and outward. Gently squeeze the dropper to instil Hysochlor 5% Eye Drop into your eyes. Blink your eyes a few times to help spread the medication.• Do not touch the tip of the dropper to prevent contamination. Gently wipe away any excess liquid around the eyes with a clean tissue.
