Your doctor may prescribe Duofrax Tablet to help manage the following conditions:

• Prevention of renal osteodystrophy: By keeping phosphorus and calcium levels balanced, Duofrax Tablet helps prevent the bone weakening and pain associated with kidney-related bone disease.
• Cardiovascular protection in kidney disease: Reducing excess blood phosphorus helps prevent dangerous calcium-phosphate deposits from forming in your blood vessels and heart.

When used as directed as part of your treatment plan, this medicine may provide the following benefits:

• Duofrax Tablet can be taken with or without food.
• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Swallow the Duofrax Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew, crush, or break it.
