Description

Dragovit-VC Tablet is a dietary supplement indicated in the prevention and improvement of vascular calcification (mineral deposition in the circulatory system), in patients with diabetes, CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) and atherosclerosis (build-up of fats, cholesterol and other substances in and on the artery walls). Also, it is used for ideal magnesium maintenance.

Key Benefits

  • Folic acid with methylcobalamin is an appropriate adjunctive therapy in CKD Patients.
  • Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) helps stimulate the production of vitamin K-dependent proteins, osteocalcin (protein hormone in bone and dentin) and MGP (Matrix Gla protein), which support bone mineralization and decreases vascular calcification.
  • Vitamin K2-7 plays a role in inhibition of vascular calcification.
  • Magnesium citrate delays arterial calcification (deposition of calcium within or outside arterial cells). Also, it helps in improvement of arterial atherosclerosis (thickening or hardening of arteries) in CKD patients.

Directions for Use

Take the dosage as advised by the doctor. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not crush, break or chew it.
