About Biospor Cream

Biospor Cream belongs to the class of antifungal primarily used to treat fungal infections. An infection occurs when a fungus invades and affects the tissue on the skin. Fungi can live in the air, soil, water and plants. Symptoms of a fungal infection include skin rash, irritation, redness, and scaling of the skin.

Biospor Cream contains 'bifonazole', which belongs to the imidazole antifungal group that kills fungi by causing holes in their cell membrane, thereby leaking all content. Thus Biospor Cream improves your skin infection.

Use this Biospor Cream as advised by the doctor. Common side effects of Biospor Cream skin rash, scaling, redness of the skin, and dry skin. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. If these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor. 

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Biospor Cream. It is essential to tell your doctor if you use any other azole antifungal before using Biospor Cream, otherwise, using another antifungal may lead to overdose and toxicity. • Biospor Cream is for external use only. • It is usually applied once daily, preferably at bedtime, or as advised by your doctor.• Clean and dry the affected area before using Biospor Cream. Apply a thin layer of this medicine to the affected area and gently rub it in.• Wash your hands before and after applying this medicine. • If Biospor Cream comes in contact with eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse with water immediately.

  • Skin rash caused by allergies is due to irritants or allergens. Therefore, avoid contact with such irritants.
  • Consult your doctor for proper medication and apply an anti-itch medication. Follow the schedule and use the medication whenever needed.
  • Protect your skin from extreme heat and try to apply wet compresses.
  • Soak in the cool bath, which gives a soothing impact to the affected area.
