Anamol 250 mg Suppositories is used to treat mild to moderate pain and fever in adults and children weighing at least 7kgs. Pain and fever are caused by the activation of pain receptors due to the release of certain natural chemicals in the body like prostaglandins. 

Anamol 250 mg Suppositories contains 'Paracetamol' which prevents the release of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation. Thus, relieves pain. Anamol 250 mg Suppositories also acts as an antipyretic agent by affecting the chemical messengers in the brain that regulate body temperature. Thereby, reduces fever.

Not everyone who is taking Anamol 250 mg Suppositories will get these side effects.
