I get cold and a fever in the evening, along with watery eyes. Is there any treatment or medicine that can help me control these symptoms?
Cold symptoms with evening fever and watery eyes can be caused by a viral infection, seasonal flu, allergies, sinus irritation, or weather-related infections. Some people also experience sneezing, a runny nose, throat irritation, body pain, or heaviness in the head, especially during the evening when tiredness increases. Paracetamol or similar fever-relief medicines may help reduce fever, body pain, and discomfort. Anti-allergy medicines may also help if watery eyes and sneezing are more prominent. Warm fluids, steam inhalation, proper hydration, rest, and light meals may support faster recovery and improve comfort naturally. Many mild viral infections improve gradually within a few days with supportive care. Antibiotics are usually not useful for simple viral cold symptoms unless a bacterial infection develops later. Persistent high fever, breathing difficulty, chest pain, thick mucus, or worsening weakness may indicate the infection is affecting the body more significantly and may require further medical care.
