Zonasoft Gel 10 gm is an ophthalmic medication used to treat dry eyes. Dry eye is a condition in which the eyes do not produce enough tears or the tears evaporate too quickly, resulting in irritation, discomfort, and blurred vision.

Zonasoft Gel 10 gm contains Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, an eye lubricant. It works by forming a transparent, moisturising film on the cornea, providing relief from dryness and irritation caused by reduced tear production.

Some people may experience temporary blurred vision, foreign body sensation, eye pain, redness, or irritation. These side effects usually go away on their own, but if they persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

Zonasoft Gel 10 gm should not be used if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or have a history of severe eye conditions or infections, unless directed by your doctor. Temporary blurred vision may occur after use, so make sure your vision is clear before driving or operating machinery.

• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Tilt your head back, pull down your lower eyelid, and apply an advised amount of Zonasoft Gel 10 gm into the pocket.
• Close your eyes for a minute to allow the gel to spread evenly.
• Avoid touching the tip of the dropper with your bare hands or bringing it closer to the eyelids while using Zonasoft Gel 10 gm, as this may contaminate the tip and the medicine.

• Zonasoft Gel 10 gm helps relieve dryness and irritation in the eyes caused by reduced tear production.

• Drive only if your vision is clear, as Zonasoft Gel 10 gm may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after applying.

• It is recommended to maintain a time gap of 5 to 15 minutes between using Zonasoft Gel 10 gm and other eye medications.
