About Ziverdo Kit
Ziverdo Kit belongs to the classes antibacterial, anti-parasitic, and nutritional supplementation. Used to treat bacterial and parasitic infections. Bacterial infections are caused by bacteria and can affect various parts of the body, such as the respiratory tract, skin, and urinary tract. Parasitic infections are caused by parasites, such as worms or protozoa, and can also affect different parts of the body.
Ziverdo Kit contains three medicines doxycycline (antibiotic), ivermectin (anti-parasitic agent) and zinc acetate (nutritional supplement). Doxycycline kills the bacteria by stopping them from making proteins they need to grow, ivermectin works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of worms, causing their paralysis and death and zinc acetate supports the human immune system. Together, these components work synergistically to treat bacterial and parasitic infections while supporting the immune system.
Take this medication as advised by your doctor. Never change the dosage without first consulting your physician. Common side-effects of Ziverdo Kit are stomach upset, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness, headache, itching, joint pain and rashes. Most of these side effects of Ziverdo Kit do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist, please contact your doctor.
Prior to using this medication, inform your doctor if you are allergic to Ziverdo Kit, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, about your current medications, and also inform if you have kidney problems, liver problems, swollen food pipe (esophagitis) or muscle disease (myasthenia gravis). Also inform your doctor if you are previously diagnosed with meningitis, human African trypanosomiasis (an infection caused by tsetse fly), or HIV.
