Z Met 50mg Tablet SR is used in the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension), heart-related chest pain (angina), and irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia). Hypertension is a lifelong or chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery walls becomes so high that it leads to heart disease.

Z Met 50mg Tablet SR contains Metoprolol Succinate, which helps in slowing down the heart rate, making it easier for the heart to pump blood throughout the body.

Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Overdose of Z Met 50mg Tablet SR may cause nausea, vomiting, decreased consciousness or loss of consciousness (coma), irregular, fast, or slow heartbeat, chest pain, dizziness, fatigue or weakness and fainting.
