About Vilfuro-G Inhalation Powder Capsule 10's
Vilfuro-G Inhalation Powder Capsule 10's belongs to the class of medicines called 'respiratory stimulants,' used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. COPD is a group of long-term lung diseases with emphysema (shortness of breath) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of bronchial tubes), causing restricted airways. Asthma is a chronic (long-term) respiratory condition in which the airways narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus, leading to difficulty in breathing.
Vilfuro-G Inhalation Powder Capsule 10's is a combination of three medications: Fluticasone furoate (a corticosteroid), Glycopyrronium (an anticholinergic), and Vilanterol (a bronchodilator/long-acting beta-agonist). Fluticasone furoate works by reducing swelling in the airways, while Glycopyrronium and Vilanterol help relax the airway muscles and open up the airways in the lungs. Together, these medications make breathing easier.
Vilfuro-G Inhalation Powder Capsule 10's is for inhalation only. You are advised to use Vilfuro-G Inhalation Powder Capsule 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your medical condition. In some cases, Vilfuro-G Inhalation Powder Capsule 10's may cause common side effects such as headache, fever, cold, runny or blocked nose, sore throat, hoarseness, cough, joint pain, back pain, stomach pain, and high blood pressure. Most of these side effects of Vilfuro-G Inhalation Powder Capsule 10's will gradually resolve over time without needing medical attention. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Before using Vilfuro-G Inhalation Powder Capsule 10's, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of its ingredients, milk proteins, or other steroid medications. Let your doctor know before using Vilfuro-G Inhalation Powder Capsule 10's if you have any eye problems, weak bones, infection, a weakened immune system, high blood sugar, seizures, thyroid problems, urination issues, or liver/kidney disease. Please consult your doctor before using Vilfuro-G Inhalation Powder Capsule 10's if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Vilfuro-G Inhalation Powder Capsule 10's is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age.
