Your doctor may prescribe Ventirex-Levo Syrup to help manage the following conditions:

• Asthma: Helps manage asthma attacks or wheezing by relaxing the tight muscles around the airways in the lungs.
• Bronchitis: Relieves coughing, chest tightness, and breathing struggles by opening up airway passages that have become narrow and swollen due to chest infections.
• Paediatric bronchospasm: Helps prevent and treat sudden airway spasms triggered by cold air, exercise, or environmental allergens, making it easier for children to breathe during physical play.

When used as directed as part of your treatment plan, Ventirex-Levo Syrup may provide the following benefits:

• Easier breathing: By widening the airways, it relieves the tight, heavy feeling in the chest, allowing your child to breathe more comfortably and return to their normal daily activities.

• Ventirex-Levo Syrup can be taken with or without food.
• It is usually taken 3-4 times a day or as advised by the doctor.
• Check the label for instructions before using this medication.
• Shake the bottle well before each use.
• Give the prescribed dose to your child by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe provided with the pack.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.

• Keep the air clean: Keep your home free from secondhand tobacco smoke and strong odours, which can cause severe airway irritation and trigger sudden breathing spasms in children.
• Encourage warm fluids: Give your child plenty of warm fluids like water or broth to help thin out mucus in their lungs, making it easier to clear.
• Manage allergy triggers: Minimise your child's exposure to known allergy triggers like dust mites, pollen, mould, and pet dander, especially in their bedroom.
• Monitor outdoor air quality: On days when pollen counts are high or outdoor air quality is poor, keep windows closed and encourage indoor play to avoid triggering breathing problems.

• Inspect the liquid: Always inspect the liquid inside the bottle before giving it to your child; do not use it if you notice any unusual colour changes, cloudiness, or floating particles.
• Measure accurately: Never use a standard kitchen spoon to measure the dose, as this can easily lead to under-dosing or over-dosing your child.
• Monitor effectiveness: If you find that your child needs to take this medicine more frequently than their doctor prescribed to get relief, contact your doctor immediately, as this can indicate their breathing condition is worsening.
